Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight from vehicles and within the facility
• Scan packages accurately to maintain shipment tracking integrity
• Sort freight into the correct areas for processing and dispatch
• Lift and manoeuvre packages up to 70 lbs independently, and up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment
• Complete all required basic and recurrency training as assigned

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Physical capability to lift 70 lbs and manoeuvre packages up to 150 lbs with equipment
• Good interpersonal skills for effective teamwork within the facility
• Familiarity with FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations is an asset (preferred, not required)
• Availability to work the Tuesday–Saturday early morning shift (6:30 AM – 10:00 AM), five days in a row
• Ability to complete all mandatory training, testing thresholds, and recurrence accreditations as required
