Responsibilities
The Assistant Team Leader at Dollarama wears many hats. From the moment a shift begins, you’ll be supporting store operations, guiding team members, and ensuring the store meets Dollarama’s high standards for presentation, safety, and customer experience. - Supporting management in overseeing daily store operations and coordinating staff activities
- Receiving and processing daily shipments, including boxing and unboxing product deliveries
- Stocking shelves with daily products in compliance with Dollarama’s presentation standards
- Delivering customer service on the floor and resolving customer concerns in a professional manner
- Upholding store safety and cleanliness standards and encouraging team compliance
- Conducting manager-on-duty tasks, including ensuring breaks are scheduled and attendance is properly recorded
- Performing cash management duties and handling store opening and closing procedures as needed
- Participating in training new employees and contributing to team development
