About the Role: Area Manager II
As an Area Manager II at an Amazon fulfillment centre, you’ll act as a strategic leader responsible for department-level operational improvements and the performance of your direct team. Benefits and Salary
Amazon offers a competitive annual salary for this position ranging from $75,000 to $105,000 CAD for the New Westminster, BC location, with final compensation determined by experience, qualifications, and location. The total compensation package may also include sign-on payments and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). Requirements / Skills

- 2+ years of employee and performance management experience in a team leadership capacity
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon blue badge/FTE experience
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays
- Experience with performance metrics and process improvement techniques (Lean Six Sigma or Kaizen preferred)
- Experience managing large teams of 50+ members is a significant advantage
- Degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics or a related discipline is preferred
- Industry background in shipping/logistics, distribution, manufacturing, healthcare, retail, or customer-facing environments is an asset
