Role of the Applied Scientist II
In this role, you’ll work on advancing the conversational capabilities of large language models. Your day-to-day will include building models for business applications, collaborating with technical teams to solve complex problems, and driving projects from ideation to production.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- PhD, or Master’s degree with 4+ years of experience in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related fields.
- At least 3 years of experience in building models for business applications.
- Proficiency in Java, C++, Python, or related programming languages.
- Experience in areas like data mining, high-performance computing, or distributed computing.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Unix/Linux environments.
- Professional software development experience.
- Proven ability to publish work in top-tier conferences or journals.
Working Conditions
This position requires relocation to either Seattle, WA or Palo Alto, CA, with the possibility of remote work depending on project needs.
