Your primary responsibility will be to assist customers, provide product information, and ensure a smooth checkout process. You will work in a variety of roles, from stocking shelves to preparing fresh food, depending on store needs.
About the Role
As an Amazon Fresh Grocery Associate, you will work shifts ranging from 4 a.m. to 12 a.m. Your tasks will vary daily based on store needs and can include engaging with customers, stocking shelves, managing inventory, and assisting with checkout operations. During your training period, you may work up to 40 hours a week, after which standard scheduling will begin.
Ideal candidates are customer-focused, adaptable, and proactive problem solvers with strong communication skills. Your role will involve direct customer interaction, ensuring every shopper has an outstanding experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers, engage in friendly conversations, and address their shopping needs.
- Provide product recommendations and assist customers in making informed decisions.
- Operate cash registers and assist in self-service checkout lanes.
- Receive and process in-store and Amazon.com returns.
- Prepare fresh food items such as salads, pizzas, rotisserie chickens, and sandwiches.
- Stock shelves, set up merchandise displays, and maintain a clean sales floor.
- Manage inventory, unload deliveries, and organize the stockroom.
- Pick items to fulfill customer grocery orders for pickup and delivery.

Basic Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to understand and perform job duties safely in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ year of customer service experience.
Working Conditions
Must be able to lift up to 49 lbs and stand/walk for the duration of shifts (up to 8 hours). Shifts vary, with availability needed between 4 a.m. and 12 a.m.
