Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy distributed open-source message broker systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional peers and open-source project maintainers to define team strategies and roadmaps.
  • Drive the system architecture and best practices to deliver high-quality products.
  • Coach and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and growth.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years of professional software development experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in design or architecture of new and existing systems.
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, and testing.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.

  • Base salary ranging from $114,800 to $191,800/year, depending on experience and location.
