Key Responsibilities
As the Senior Practice Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving IT transformations and cloud migrations. Your expertise will guide customers in developing innovative strategies while ensuring smooth project execution and team leadership.
- Build and lead a high-performing team of professional services consultants.
- Engage with Director, VP, and C-level executives to understand their business objectives and craft IT solutions.
- Provide portfolio guidance, oversee project execution, and drive customer success.
- Collaborate with internal and partner teams to deliver impactful results.
- Support thought leadership initiatives and help define AWS’s go-to-market strategy.
What You Bring
We’re looking for an experienced and dynamic leader with a strong background in consulting, technology services, and public sector engagement. Candidates with diverse IT expertise and a passion for mentoring teams are encouraged to apply.
- Basic Qualifications:
- 10+ years of consulting experience in Education and Canadian State/Local Government.
- Proven leadership in managing advisory services or consulting practices with P&L responsibility.
- Strong expertise in selling and delivering technology consulting services.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with executives and governing boards.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Former CTO/CIO or consulting firm Partner with IT transformation experience.
- Ability to attract and develop top talent in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with enterprise application migrations to public and private cloud.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
