About the Role: Cargo Handler / Non-Driver

Day to day, you’ll be working on the warehouse floor — loading and unloading freight, keeping packages moving efficiently through the sort process, and using scanning equipment to track shipments. Accuracy and physical readiness matter here, as you’ll be handling packages of varying sizes and weights throughout your shift. Speed and reliability are key to keeping operations on schedule.

Beyond the physical tasks, you’ll be expected to complete all required FedEx training and recurrence certifications, operate within a PC/Windows environment as needed, and follow applicable procedures including Canadian Customs regulations. Teamwork, punctuality, and a safety-first mindset are essential in this kind of role.

Benefits and Salary

This part-time position pays $21.00 per hour. The AM shift is mandatory on weekends, with Saturday starting at 4:30 a.m. through 10:00 a.m., and weekday shifts running approximately 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. Positions are available with Tuesday/Wednesday or Thursday/Friday off. • Handle packages weighing up to 70 lbs independently and manoeuvre items up to 150 lbs using appropriate equipment
• Follow procedures related to Canadian Customs regulations and FedEx Canada operational standards
• Complete mandatory training including all basic and recurrency certifications required by FedEx
• Operate in a PC/Windows environment as required for job-related tasks
• Work varying shifts based on business and operational needs, including mandatory weekends

Requirements / Skills

FedEx is looking for dependable, physically capable individuals who can keep pace in a high-volume warehouse environment. • High School Diploma or GED — preferred but not strictly required

• Ability to complete all training requirements including basic and recurrency programs
• Bilingual (French/English) — required only if residing in the province of Quebec
