About the Role: Delivery Driver (Class 5)

In this role, you’ll be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of packages to homes and residences throughout the Blainville area. New drivers may be assigned to multiple residential zones, so familiarity with local streets and the ability to navigate using map books is a genuine asset. You’ll represent UPS directly with customers, so maintaining a professional appearance and courteous demeanour is expected at all times.

Physical fitness is a real part of the job — you’ll be lifting packages up to 70 lbs on your own and up to 150 lbs with assistance. Compliance with UPS appearance and safety guidelines is mandatory, and all drivers must maintain a clean driving record that meets UPS standards before hitting the road.

Benefits and Salary

UPS offers a competitive pay structure for this position. The starting hourly rate is $20/h, with the potential to reach a maximum rate of $37.29/h following probation and a 48-month progression. Pay is issued weekly every Friday via direct deposit. Responsibilities

Day to day, a UPS Delivery Driver is the face of the company in the neighbourhood. Your core duties revolve around ensuring safe, accurate, and timely package delivery while representing UPS professionally at every customer interaction.

• Deliver packages to residential addresses across assigned routes in the Blainville area
• Navigate routes using map books and area knowledge to ensure efficient delivery sequences
• Lift and handle packages weighing up to 70 lbs independently and up to 150 lbs with assistance
• Maintain professional appearance in accordance with UPS grooming and uniform standards
• Interact courteously with customers and residents during all deliveries
• Cover multiple residential zones as needed, particularly during the early stages of employment
• Comply with all UPS safety protocols and driving regulations at all times

Requirements / Skills

• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence (or higher) issued in the province of Quebec — mandatory
• Clean driver’s abstract: no at-fault accidents in the last 3 years, no traffic violations in the last 12 months
• Minimum 21 years of age (required for insurance purposes)
• Bilingual in French and English (written and spoken) — required
• Physical capability to lift up to 70 lbs without assistance and 150 lbs with assistance
• Ability to read and navigate using map books across various residential areas
• Must provide a driver’s abstract prior to the road test
