About the Position

Stockpersons/Cartpushers at Walmart retrieve shopping carts from corrals, the parking lot, and store perimeter, then return them safely, following Walmart’s approved procedure. You’ll also help customers with carry outs or carry ins, verify receipts for proof of purchase when needed, and assist with occasional store maintenance.

Your primary goal is to contribute to a clean, hazard-free environment and maintain customer satisfaction. You’ll follow safety guidelines, complete necessary logs, and ensure you’re visibly equipped with the right protective gear when collecting carts.

Requirements / Skills

• Collect shopping carts from corrals, parking lot, and store perimeter.
• Return carts to a safe storage location using Walmart-approved procedures and complete necessary logs.
• Respond promptly to cashier requests and assist customers with carry-out or carry-in needs.
• Occasionally clean and maintain restrooms and handle chemicals or power equipment, following established guidelines.
• Adhere to safety/emergency procedures, including lockout/tagout and bloodborne pathogens protocols.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment.
• Wear steel-toe footwear and reflective vest during cart retrieval for visibility and protection.
• Complete safety sweeps as required.
