Role of the Product Marketing Manager

As the Product Marketing Manager, you will lead end-to-end marketing for Amazon Canada’s retail events. This includes partnering with category and central teams to drive traffic, track and measure channel results, and present strategies to senior leadership. You will also define and own goals, making data-driven recommendations and diving deep into consumer insights to enhance the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead marketing for CA retail events, including Prime Day and Holiday.
  • Support marquee activations and drive traffic through cross-functional collaboration.
  • Track, measure, and report on marketing channel performance and contribute to business reviews.
  • Define and own goals, making data-driven recommendations for priorities.
  • Dive deep into consumer insights and the competitive landscape to drive customer-focused recommendations.
  • Develop communication mechanisms for proactive updates with partner teams and leadership.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of professional marketing experience.
  • Experience building, executing, and scaling cross-functional marketing programs.
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
  • Experience in multivariate testing, in-app, and onsite marketing.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing and measuring marketing performance across various channels.
  • Experience with paid media and owned channels (e.g., email, onsite).
  • Knowledge of analytical tools like Excel and Tableau.
  • Experience managing external partners for marketing program development.

Working Conditions

This role is based in Toronto, ON, with options to work out of Seattle, Arlington, or Toronto. You will work in a fast-paced environment, managing high-profile marketing initiatives that impact Amazon’s Canadian retail operations.
