About the Role: Air Walker

The Air Walker position is all about keeping UPS’s delivery operations running smoothly on the ground. Working alongside Package Drivers, you’ll be responsible for the efficient delivery and pick-up of UPS packages at both drop box locations and directly with customers. The work is physical and hands-on — expect to be on your feet, lifting, lowering, and carrying packages throughout your shift.

You’ll also be trained in UPS package handling methods, ensuring that every parcel is treated with care and delivered according to company standards. This role requires a strong sense of customer service and the ability to work efficiently under a structured schedule. As a representative of UPS in the field, maintaining a professional appearance in line with UPS appearance guidelines is also part of the job.

Responsibilities

Day-to-day, the Air Walker plays a hands-on role in UPS’s delivery network. Working efficiently along a specified route, you’ll help ensure that packages reach their destinations on time while representing the UPS brand professionally with every customer interaction.

• Deliver and pick up UPS packages efficiently and effectively at drop boxes and customer locations
• Support UPS Package Drivers along a designated route throughout the shift
• Learn and execute proper UPS package handling methods as trained
• Lift, lower, and carry packages in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment
• Maintain professionalism by adhering to UPS appearance guidelines at all times
• Provide excellent customer service through efficiency, dedication, and a positive attitude

Requirements / Skills

UPS is looking for candidates who are physically fit, reliable, and genuinely focused on customer satisfaction. The ideal person for this role is comfortable working in an active, outdoor environment and can keep up with the demands of a structured delivery schedule.

• Physical capability to lift up to 70 lbs. (32 kg) regularly throughout the shift
• Flexibility to work up to 5 days per week with varying shift hours
• Strong customer service skills to represent UPS professionally in the field
• Compliance with UPS appearance guidelines
• Availability Monday to Friday, flexible between 10:00 AM and 7:00 PM
