About the Role
As a Casual Package Delivery Driver at UPS, you will play a crucial role in ensuring packages are delivered to customers efficiently and on time. This position is physically demanding, requiring you to lift and carry packages weighing up to 70 lbs, navigate through various delivery routes, and maintain a fast-paced schedule.
Full-time UPS employees typically work 8-10 hours per day, with shifts varying depending on the company’s business needs. Schedules can range from Monday-Friday or Tuesday-Saturday, offering flexibility to meet the demands of our customers. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver packages to homes and businesses in your community using a UPS truck.
- Lift and carry packages up to 70 lbs. of various shapes and sizes.
- Provide excellent customer service while ensuring timely deliveries.
- Comply with UPS uniform and appearance standards and wear the provided uniform.
Basic Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license (no CDL required, license type varies by state).
- Pass the Department of Transportation (DOT) physical.
- Legal right to work in the U.S.
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
- Excellent customer service and driving skills.
