As a Vendor Manager for the Furniture Category, you will act as the business owner for your portfolio of strategic vendors. Your responsibilities include forecasting, pricing analysis, and inventory management to ensure vendor success. You will also proactively negotiate costs, manage promotions, and optimize product listings to drive customer engagement and sales growth.
In this role, you’ll collaborate with teams like Marketing, Site Merchandising, and Supply Chain Operations to create a seamless shopping experience. Key Responsibilities
As a Vendor Manager in the Furniture Category at Amazon Canada, your key responsibilities will include:
- Acting as the business owner for your vendors, possessing a complete understanding of internal and external factors that impact their success.
- Owning forecasting, monitoring, and reporting on vendor performance to ensure business objectives are met.
- Negotiating costs, promotions, and business inputs with vendors to optimize profitability and improve vendor performance.
- Managing purchase orders and conducting in-stock analysis to ensure the timely delivery of products.

Basic Qualifications
The following qualifications are required for the Vendor Manager role:
- Bachelor’s degree, or 3+ years of professional or military experience.
- 5+ years of experience in retail, operations, product management, or business management/consulting with proven success in negotiation and driving results.
- 3+ years of experience with financial analysis and P&L ownership.
- Proficiency with Excel for data analysis and performance tracking.
Preferred Qualifications
