About the Role

As an AWS Sr. Account Manager, you’ll drive revenue growth and improve market presence in a defined territory or industry vertical. You will design and implement account plans that will drive AWS adoption in the media, entertainment, and game industries to ensure AWS remains the preferred cloud computing destination.

You’ll bring a unique blend of technical and business acumen that will enable you to effectively engage with C-level executives, software developers, and IT architects. Self-driven and resourceful, you’ll develop and execute a territory coverage plan and deliver results against quarterly revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities for Sr. Account Manager at AWS

  • Drive revenue and market share in a specific territory or industry vertical.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets by building strong relationships with clients.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive account/territory plan.

Basic Qualifications

Candidates for this position must meet the following minimum qualifications:

  • 7+ years of direct sales or business development experience within software, cloud, or SaaS markets, engaging with C-level personas.
  • 10+ years of experience in business development, partner development, sales, or alliance management.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following are highly desirable:

  • 5+ years of experience building profitable partner ecosystems.
  • Experience in developing go-to-market strategies and detailed territory plans.
