In this role, you will lead and develop a team of salaried and hourly talent, ensuring the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance, and performance. Our operations workflow is divided into three major components: First mile (where the product is housed and ready for order), Middle mile (where the order is hauled to your area), and Last mile (when the product is delivered to the customer’s door). Job Responsibilities

As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting, mentoring, and motivating salaried and hourly employees.
  • Leading large-scale projects with site and regional impact.
  • Building and executing productivity plans based on forecast reviews and productivity requirements.
  • Managing safety, quality, productivity, and ensuring customer delivery commitments are met.
  • Collaborating with teams such as Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources to meet business objectives.
  • Working in a physically demanding environment with potential exposure to loud noise levels and variable temperatures.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of employee and performance management experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience with performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques.

Work Environment

This role requires the ability to lift up to 49 pounds, frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach, and stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts. You will also work in an environment with varying noise levels and temperatures, including outdoor loading areas.
