What Does an Area Manager II Do?

Your Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Support, mentor, and motivate hourly associates to achieve operational goals.

• Collaboration: Work with support teams including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, and HR to meet objectives.
• Physical Demands: Lift up to 49 lbs, stand/walk for up to 12 hours, and work in variable environments, including loud and temperature-changing conditions.
• Operational Excellence: Manage workflows efficiently, contributing to seamless customer order delivery.

What You’ll Bring

• BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 2+ years of experience in employee and performance management.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 1+ year of experience in performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques.
