The New Product Introductions (NPI) team works closely with engineering, suppliers, and data center operations to launch new products and manage transitions. As a Supply Chain Product Manager, you will integrate with supply chain commodity managers to maintain continuity of supply while minimizing risks for excess and obsolete materials. This is an opportunity to operate in a fast-paced environment and make a significant impact on AWS’s global infrastructure.
About the Role
We are seeking a candidate with strong engineering and manufacturing experience capable of executing strategic plans that improve service, productivity, and quality. In this role, you will interact with senior AWS leaders, synthesize complex program information, and drive alignment across engineering, supply chain, and procurement teams. You will own the supply chain strategy for your NPI program, ensuring material readiness during prototype and qualification, and developing scalable production plans for launch.
This role requires an individual who can juggle multiple responsibilities, communicate concisely with internal and external stakeholders, and deliver data-driven business reviews to senior management. Your work will directly influence the direction of AWS supply chain activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute strategic plans to improve service, productivity, and quality.
- Develop systems of accountability for ongoing, measurable performance improvement.
- Collaborate with internal development teams to guide the direction of supply chain activities.
- Prepare and present detailed, data-driven business reviews focused on new product launches.
- Drive strategic BOM reviews and qualifications with internal teams.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance, or related technical field; or 4+ years of experience in supply chain or hardware sourcing in lieu of a degree.
- 4+ years of experience in program, project, or product management; or 2+ years with an advanced degree.
- 2+ years of experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, Pivot Tables, SQL, Tableau, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or advanced degree in engineering or other quantitative disciplines.
- Experience in manufacturing or quality control.
- Strong business and financial acumen.
- Program management with integrated scheduling and milestone tracking.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence cross-functional teams.

- Base salary ranging from $71,500 to $153,000/year, depending on experience and location.
