About the Role: Stockperson/Cartpusher

The Stockperson/Cartpusher plays a vital role in ensuring a positive customer experience by maintaining safe access to shopping carts, assisting with carry-outs, and supporting store operations. You’ll be working both inside and outside the store, providing excellent service while helping maintain Walmart’s high standards for safety and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect shopping carts from corrals, parking lot, and store perimeter, returning them safely to storage areas.
• Assist customers with carry-outs and carry-ins, verifying receipts when necessary.
• Support restroom and facility maintenance following proper cleaning and chemical handling procedures.
• Operate power equipment and complete safety inspection reports before use.
• Adhere to safety and emergency procedures, including lockout/tagout and hazardous materials guidelines.
• Complete Cart Retrieval Logs and maintain accurate records.
• Wear proper protective equipment, including steel toe footwear and reflective vest, during cart retrieval.
• Perform safety sweeps and maintain a clean, hazard-free environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and move heavy carts safely (steel toe footwear required).
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to follow Walmart safety guidelines and operational procedures.
