About the role: Senior Account Executive, Public Sector

Senior Account Executives in the Enterprise segment are responsible for building and managing their own book of business using solution-selling, traditional and digital prospecting, and strategic relationship management. You will prospect, design tailored solutions, and develop relationships with decision makers across functions such as IT, Facilities, Finance, and Procurement.

You will ensure recommended solutions align with customer procurement environments, including public sector contracting requirements, eProcurement integrations, advance payments, and automated reconciliation. Working closely with internal Amazon teams, you will support deployment and drive successful adoption.

Requirements / Skills

5+ years of B2B or enterprise sales experience with a strong focus on new business hunting

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

Experience managing a territory of enterprise accounts using a consultative selling approach

Ability to prospect and engage senior stakeholders, including C-level leaders

Strong relationship-building and pipeline management skills

Preferred:

Experience pursuing and closing a large number of accounts (phone and in-person)

Experience selling innovative technology solutions to new and existing customers

Knowledge of procurement and source-to-pay processes or equivalent experience

Ability to identify trends and opportunities to expand large-scale technology deals
