About the role: Self Checkout Attendant

Working as a Self Checkout Attendant at Walmart Canada is a great way to develop your skills in the retail industry. A Self Checkout Attendant provides exceptional customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience and assists customers processing transactions through the self-service area(s). You educate customers on self-service options, observe activities to determine when assistance is needed, and reassure customers during quality checks.

Your responsibilities include keeping the area neat, clean, and organized; promoting company sponsor programs such as credit card services and charity initiatives when applicable; responding to EAS alarms; and notifying management when cash or technical issues arise. You return Scan & Go scanners to their home after use and contribute to a smooth self-checkout process, demonstrating a helpful, communicative, and positive attitude.
