Part-Time Dairy Frozen Associate – Walmart – Stratford, ON

About the Role: Dairy Frozen Associate

As a Dairy Frozen Associate, you’ll be working directly on the floor to keep the department running smoothly. This means zoning the department, rotating product to manage freshness, and following strict cold chain compliance and food safety procedures. You’ll also handle signing, pricing, markups, and markdowns while keeping features looking their best.

This position requires a solid understanding of food handling standards, including thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, sell-by dates, and sanitation procedures. Working as part of the broader Walmart store team, you’ll contribute to delivering a consistent and positive experience for customers visiting the Stratford location.

Benefits and Salary

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts at $17.75 per hour, with the actual rate determined based on relevant experience. Responsibilities

• Zone the department regularly to maintain a tidy, organized, and customer-ready appearance
• Rotate stock and check for expired products to ensure freshness and minimize waste
• Ensure merchandise is properly signed and priced at all times
• Adhere to cold chain compliance standards including thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, and product rotation
• Follow food safety and handling procedures, including sanitation and cleaning protocols
• Execute ordering procedures, clearance, markups/markdowns, and proper signing and labelling
• Maintain features within the department to support promotional and merchandising standards
• Keep the area neat, clean, and free of fixtures, debris, foreign objects, and liquids
