Join Federal Express Corporation Canada (FedEx) as a Package Handler in Winnipeg, MB, and help keep packages moving safely and efficiently. About the role: Package Handler (Warehouse Like)
As a Package Handler, you’ll use “hand-to-surface” methods to move packages onto/off vehicles, trailers, pallets, conveyor carts, and load gratings. You’ll scan, read labels and charts, verify numbers, and sort to the correct lanes—keeping safety, speed, and accuracy at the forefront across a typical 3–5 hour shift (with potential for multiple shifts per day).
Depending on assignment, you may train peers on safe loading/unloading and palletizing techniques, or perform multi-step air package inspections to prevent restricted items from entering air containers. Across all stations, you’ll follow dock safety standards, keep work areas clean, and communicate effectively to support operational flow.
Benefits and Salary
This part-time role offers a steady schedule, skills training, and a competitive hourly rate. You’ll gain experience with warehouse equipment (rollers, dock carts, hand-held scanners) while working with a team committed to safety and efficiency.
