About the role: General Merchandise Assistant Manager
As a member of the Store Management Team, you’ll drive profitable sales by achieving sales and profit goals, managing budgets, and forecasting sales. You’ll analyze financial reports and community needs to respond to market changes effectively. Additionally, you’ll create operational plans, delegate tasks, and ensure optimal store conditions through effective merchandising, competitive pricing, and high store standards.
You’ll also execute asset protection and safety controls, oversee safety and operational reviews, and ensure compliance with Walmart’s policies and procedures. Engaging with customers, addressing their concerns, and supporting community initiatives will be a vital part of your role.
