About the Role: Field Sales Representative, Mid Market Enterprise

As an FSR on the Google Cloud team, you’ll be responsible for the full end-to-end sales cycle across your assigned territory. From prospecting and pipeline development through to negotiating complex commercial agreements and driving consumption growth, you’ll be the primary point of contact for mid-market enterprise customers looking to digitally transform their operations. The base salary range for this full-time position in Canada is CAD $124,000–$127,000, plus bonus, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package. Responsibilities

This is a high-impact, customer-facing role where every interaction matters. You’ll be driving Google Cloud adoption across a portfolio of mid-market enterprise accounts, building long-term relationships while managing complex commercial engagements. Here’s what your day-to-day will look like:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to surpass business generation goals while building trusted, consultative relationships with customers
  • Leverage emerging technology trends, market analysis, and knowledge of cloud solutions to showcase how Google Cloud can transform customers’ business operations
  • Manage and track the full sales pipeline from start to finish, ensuring healthy pipeline hygiene and accurate forecasting for clear visibility into expected outcomes
  • Negotiate and structure complex, multi-year agreements and formulate persuasive proposals that illustrate clear return on investment through customer business cases and deployment plans
  • Mobilize internal experts including Customer Engineering, Partner, and Post-Sales teams — as well as external partners — at the right time to drive consumption and deliver a seamless customer experience

Requirements / Skills

Google Cloud is looking for a seasoned sales professional who brings both the technical fluency to speak credibly about cloud solutions and the executive presence to build lasting relationships at the C-suite level. The ideal candidate is commercially sharp, strategically minded, and energized by complex, long-cycle deals.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant field
  • 7+ years of experience in quota-carrying cloud or software sales, or consultative account management at a B2B software company
  • Proven experience engaging and building relationships with diverse internal teams and customer stakeholders at all levels
  • Full business cycle management experience including pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting
  • Commercial negotiation expertise, with experience managing and closing complex agreements
  • Preferred: Experience with consultative selling to executives across multiple industries, qualifying leads, and presenting the value proposition of cloud, data, and AI technologies
  • Preferred: Strong business and financial acumen, including profit and loss management and accurate forecasting
