About the Role: Distribution Supervisor

This position is responsible for supervising a wide range of daily activities within the warehouse, including inbound flow, inventory control, and outbound flow. You’ll schedule and allocate work to employees, ensuring that orders are picked, packed, and shipped on time. Managing budgets, monitoring expenditures, and resolving discrepancies are also central components of the job.

Beyond day-to-day operations, this role requires a strong grasp of health and safety regulations, employment standards legislation, and supply chain principles. Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing the complete flow of warehouse operations — from receiving goods to final shipment. Your ability to coordinate people, processes, and resources is what keeps the operation running smoothly and on schedule.

• Supervise the inbound flow, inventory control, and outbound flow activities within the warehouse
• Schedule and allocate work to employees to ensure orders are picked, packed, and shipped efficiently
• Manage budgets by allocating funds, monitoring expenditures, and resolving financial discrepancies
• Build and maintain working relationships with vendors, including suppliers, consultants, and contractors
• Participate in customer meetings and identify new business development opportunities
• Investigate and resolve shipment discrepancies and ensure returns are properly checked and restocked
• Maintain employee attendance records and ensure compliance with employment standards legislation
• Oversee warehouse housekeeping including safety, security, equipment maintenance, and inventory control

Requirements / Skills

• 1 to 2 years of warehouse-related experience — required for this role
• Management experience — a must-have to lead and develop a warehouse team effectively
• Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office — required for reporting and operational tasks
• Experience in a radio frequency (RF) environment — preferred, reflecting the technology-driven nature of the operation
• Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent — preferred
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, workers’ compensation, and legal compliance requirements
• Supply chain and logistics knowledge related to manufacturing, movement, and distribution of products
• Excellent communication skills — both verbal and written — and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
