About the Role
The Google Digital Marketing Apprenticeship is a Department of Labor Registered Apprenticeship Program, providing a unique blend of on-the-job training, technical instruction, and career development workshops.
This apprenticeship is not just about learning; it’s about building a solid foundation for a future in digital marketing. You’ll finish the program with a nationally recognized credential, setting you up for success in the digital marketing world.
As an apprentice, you’ll be at the heart of Google’s marketing efforts, helping to design and execute campaigns for some of the biggest brands globally. You’ll get hands-on experience with various Google products think Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android, Google Ads, and Google Analytics. It’s a dynamic role that offers exposure to both consumer and business products, ensuring a well-rounded learning experience.
What You’ll Do
- Analyze and Evaluate: Help assess and improve organizations’ digital marketing strategies.
- Support Go-to-Market Strategies: Assist with new product launches, including positioning, naming, and external communications.
- Insight Gathering: Engage with focus groups and research agencies to better serve Google users and manage social media campaigns.
- Client Interactions: Work directly with clients to manage accounts and represent the Google brand, following up on tasks and ensuring smooth communication.
- Team Collaboration: Attend team meetings to share knowledge and stay informed about ongoing projects.
What We’re Looking For
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school degree, GED equivalent, or practical experience.
- Not currently enrolled in or completed a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree program in a digital marketing-related field.
- Less than 1 year of relevant digital marketing experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Experience using Google Workspace or similar productivity tools.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Enthusiasm for new technologies, demonstrated through personal projects or continuous learning.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, along with a positive, proactive attitude.
