Responsibilities

Working in the Dairy and Frozen department means staying on top of a wide range of tasks that keep the section running smoothly and safely. • Zone the department to ensure products are neatly arranged and accessible for customers throughout your shift
• Rotate stock and check for expired products to maintain freshness and reduce waste
• Ensure merchandise is properly signed and priced so customers always have accurate information
• Adhere to cold chain compliance standards, including thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, and food handling protocols
• Follow food safety procedures including sanitation and cleaning requirements to maintain a safe environment
• Execute proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing, flagging, pricing, and labelling
• Maintain department features to support promotional and merchandising standards
• Keep the area clean, organized, and free of unnecessary debris, foreign objects, and liquids
