About the Role: Audiologist (Licensed)
As a Dispensing Audiologist at Costco Toronto, your primary mandate is to assess hearing and provide complete dispensing services for hearing aids. You’ll conduct thorough evaluations — from history-taking and threshold testing to fitting, verification, and validation — ensuring every member receives the right solution for their hearing needs. When clinical best practice warrants it, you’ll also make appropriate referrals.
Beyond the clinical side, you’ll be expected to uphold rigorous infection control, privacy, and confidentiality standards, maintain accurate and complete records, and collaborate effectively with support staff to keep the Hearing Centre running smoothly. Occasionally, you may also assist in other areas of the warehouse as needed.

Responsibilities
Working within Costco’s Hearing Centre, your day-to-day responsibilities span the full continuum of audiological care — from initial assessment through to post-fitting follow-up. This comprehensive scope of practice means no two days are exactly alike, and your clinical skills will be put to full use in service of member well-being.
- Assess hearing through thorough evaluations including history-taking, air and bone conduction threshold testing, and speech testing
- Recommend and fit appropriate hearing instruments based on assessment findings, or refer members when clinically indicated
- Provide dispensing services including hearing aid evaluations, fittings, verification, and validation of hearing instrument performance
- Perform impression taking, shell repair, and modification as required
- Maintain complete records and documentation in accordance with professional and organizational standards
- Adhere to all infection control, privacy, and confidentiality protocols at all times
- Stay current on all products and services offered through the Hearing Centre
- Collaborate with support personnel to ensure appropriate allocation of tasks and efficient clinic operations
- Assist in other areas of the warehouse as needed
Requirements / Skills
Costco is seeking a fully qualified Dispensing Audiologist who brings both clinical excellence and a genuine commitment to member service. - Master’s Degree in Audiology with all qualifications required to dispense hearing aids in Ontario
- Registration (or eligibility for registration) with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO)
- Clinical experience in audiology or hearing instrument dispensing is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and solid technical aptitude for hearing instrument technology
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to manage a busy clinic effectively
- Strong communication and counselling skills with a member-first approach to service
- Proficient computer skills for documentation and practice management
