Our WW Operations network delivers millions of packages and smiles to Amazon customers every day. As an Area Manager II, you will lead a team of hourly associates, engaging them to maintain the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance and performance.
You will play a key role in ensuring customer orders are delivered at the right time and to the right location, across our first mile, middle mile and last mile workflows.
About the role: Area Manager II
In this role, you will support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce, driving operational excellence in safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance and HR—to develop plans that meet business objectives and uphold our customer obsession.
Benefits and Salary
Amazon offers a comprehensive compensation package including a base salary of $70,000 – $105,000 per year, equity awards, sign-on bonuses, and a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.

Requirements / Skills
- 2+ years of employee and performance management experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays
- 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques (preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 49 lbs, stand/walk up to 12 hours, and navigate variable environments
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
