About the Role: Overnight Lead

The Overnight Lead is a key leadership position at Walmart. You’ll oversee a team of associates during the overnight shift, ensuring shelves are fully stocked, displays are set up, and the store is safe and secure. Reporting to the Overnight Assistant Manager and Daytime Management Team, you’ll ensure all operations align with Walmart’s priorities and values.

This role requires attention to detail, the ability to manage overnight associates effectively, and a focus on maintaining the store’s overall presentation. You’ll also play a role in training and developing your team to meet production goals and deliver a seamless shopping experience for Walmart customers.

Responsibilities of an Overnight Lead

• Coordinate overnight stocking activities based on priorities set by the management team.
• Assess merchandise presentation and store appearance, addressing deficiencies and updating displays as needed.
• Manage defective merchandise, ensuring it is sent to the claims room for processing.
• Ensure store safety and security during overnight shifts, managing accidents and addressing concerns in the absence of the Overnight Assistant Manager.
• Inspect assigned areas to confirm compliance with security and physical facility standards.
• Participate in training and developing overnight associates to meet production and operational goals.
