Position Overview: Associate Technical Account Manager

As an Associate Technical Account Manager, you will manage the delivery of Cloud Consulting engagements, accelerating customer adoption of Google Cloud services. You’ll provide strategic guidance, address technical challenges, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customers’ cloud transformations are successful and sustainable.

This role requires experience in cloud operations, technical support, and customer-focused consulting. You’ll be responsible for managing project timelines, developing technical roadmaps, and engaging in regular reviews to understand and support customers’ business and technical needs.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in a customer-facing role involving technical implementations or transformation programs.
  • Experience in cloud operations (e.g., capacity planning, product release management), technical support, escalation management, or IT consulting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or Master’s degree in a Management, Technical, or Engineering field.
  • Experience translating business requirements into technological solutions.
  • Experience with application or workload migration to public cloud providers.
  • Understanding of IT operations, database systems, networking, IT security, application development, and cloud-native solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and client management skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead customer implementation journeys and manage cloud transformation milestones and timelines.
  • Advocate for customer needs to address adoption blockers and support feature development.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders to develop strategic roadmaps and lead business reviews.
  • Collaborate with support, development, and reliability teams to ensure customer success.
  • Develop best practices and resources to scale Google Cloud adoption through partnerships.
