Position Overview: Distribution Centre Team Associate – Walmart Canada
As a Distribution Centre Team Associate at Walmart Canada’s Cornwall Import Distribution Centre, you will be responsible for receiving, processing, and shipping freight, ensuring merchandise is handled with accuracy and efficiency. Depending on business needs, you will work in areas such as Picking, Receiving, and Shipping.
Your role is vital to Walmart’s supply chain, as you will maintain high productivity levels while adhering to company policies and health regulations. By supporting Walmart’s logistics goals, you help ensure customers receive their products on time, while contributing to operational innovation and sustainability. Key Responsibilities
As a Distribution Centre Team Associate, your key responsibilities will include:
- Receive and process freight as it arrives at the distribution centre, ensuring accuracy in documentation and handling.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to Walmart’s high standards for speed and accuracy.
- Stock replenishment and restocking of inventory to ensure product availability.
- Load and unload trailers safely and efficiently, ensuring that merchandise is transported without damage.
- Maintain order filling performance while ensuring picking accuracy to meet operational goals.
- Comply with health and safety regulations, including the use of protective gear, and adhere to company policies on operations and safety.
- Operate material handling equipment (MHE), such as forklifts, order pickers, and hand trucks. Special training will be provided as needed.
- Contribute to housekeeping and maintenance efforts to ensure a clean, safe, and organized workspace.

- Must be 18 years of age or older.
