Amazon Fresh Grocery is excited to welcome an Instock Manager to our team. This position is available in multiple locations: New York City, Seattle, Chicago, Austin, Arlington, or Nashville.
As an Instock Manager within Amazon Fresh, you’ll play a crucial role in overseeing supply chain and inventory management, ensuring product availability, and improving customer experiences.
This role involves leading cross-functional initiatives and building scalable systems and processes as we continue to grow. You will drive projects across our physical store channels, optimizing costs and enhancing efficiency.
About the Role
The Instock Manager (ISM) will be responsible for managing inventory levels, overseeing supply chain strategies, and leading data-driven business decisions to improve overall efficiency.
Success in this role will depend on the ability to collaborate with multiple teams, utilize data analytics, and drive operational excellence across the business.
Key Responsibilities
As an Instock Manager, your main responsibilities will include:
- Developing and executing inventory management strategies.
- Analyzing data to drive operational decisions and improvements.
- Leading cross-functional projects to enhance supply chain efficiency.
- Executing A/B testing to determine optimal stock management techniques.
- Identifying root causes of stock issues and developing innovative solutions.
- Ensuring cross-functional alignment on inventory and supply chain initiatives.
Required Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience working with Excel.
- 4+ years of experience in supply chain, inventory management, or project management.
- Bachelor’s degree, or 3+ years of professional or military experience.
Preferred Qualifications
These qualifications will make you stand out as a candidate:
- Experience with statistical inventory control principles.
- Knowledge of process improvement techniques such as Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma.

- Base pay ranging from $66,000 to $141,100 per year depending on geographic location.
