About the Role
As a Seasonal Package Delivery Driver, you will drive our familiar brown trucks, delivering packages of various shapes and sizes. This role requires you to be physically active, lifting up to 70 lbs, while providing exceptional customer service. You’ll work full-time, with shifts lasting between 8-9.5 hours, following a Monday through Saturday schedule as per business needs.
In addition to driving, you’ll comply with UPS appearance guidelines and wear the company-provided uniform. You will have the chance to grow with the company, as this seasonal job could lead to a full-time position with a comprehensive benefits package.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive UPS vehicles on predetermined routes to deliver packages efficiently and safely.
- Lift and move packages weighing up to 70 lbs.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
- Adhere to UPS uniform and personal appearance guidelines.
- Comply with all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
Basic Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Hold a valid driver’s license (CDL not required).
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Pass the DOT physical examination.
- Comply with UPS appearance and uniform guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in delivery or customer service roles.
- Strong communication skills and customer-focused mindset.
- Excellent driving skills with attention to road safety.
