As a WHS Specialist (WHSS) in Brampton, ON, you will help build a culture of safety by coaching associates, delivering training, and ensuring compliance with Canadian OHS Provincial Laws.
The WHSS acts as a designated representative for the assigned facility, coordinating and implementing all areas of the Amazon Global Safety Program. You will play a key role in conducting risk assessments, analysing work habits, and recommending improvements to maintain a safe and positive work environment.
About the role: WHS Specialist
In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate daily, weekly, and monthly safety metrics reported to site management and corporate teams. You will also support leadership by ensuring compliance with federal and provincial safety standards, while identifying and mitigating potential workplace risks, including ergonomics.
The WHSS will conduct Job Hazard Analyses, oversee the introduction of new equipment, and recommend risk reduction measures. Flexibility is essential, as the role may require working days, nights, or weekends, depending on business needs.

Requirements / Skills
