Warehouse Worker 1 – FedEx – Calgary, AB

FedEx Supply Chain Canada is hiring a Warehouse Worker 1 at their Calgary, Alberta facility. This is a full-time, overnight shift position (Sunday through Wednesday, 3rd Shift) that pays $18.50/hr plus a $1.00/hr shift premium — solid compensation for hands-on warehouse work with one of the most recognizable logistics companies in the world.

About the Role: Warehouse Worker 1

As a Warehouse Worker, your day-to-day involves accurately fulfilling customer orders through picking and packing, loading and unloading delivery vehicles, and using Radio Frequency (RF) terminals to manage inventory, quality checks, and shipping tasks. You’ll read labels, scan packages, sort products to the correct destinations, and maintain thorough records to support inventory integrity across the facility.

Safety and quality are central to everything in this role. You’ll be expected to follow all company safety standards, inspect products for damage or inaccuracies, participate in physical inventories and cycle counts, and support the broader warehouse team by learning responsibilities across multiple areas. This is a physically active role that requires the ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds and stay on your feet for the duration of each shift.

Benefits and Salary

This position offers a pay rate of $18.50 per hour plus a $1.00 per hour shift premium for overnight work, with a general pay range of CAD $16.06 – $27.02 depending on experience and qualifications. Responsibilities

Working as a Warehouse Worker 1 at FedEx, your responsibilities span the full cycle of warehouse operations — from receiving and storing goods to picking, packing, and shipping orders. • Select products accurately based on customer order specifications

• Scan packages, read labels and charts, verify quantities, and sort products to correct destinations
• Maintain cleanliness and orderly condition of facility equipment and materials
• Keep accurate records and reports to support inventory integrity
• Participate in physical inventories and cycle counts
• Inspect products for accuracy, damage, or infestation
• Perform labelling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking as assigned
• Adhere to all company safety standards at all times

Requirements / Skills

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 0–2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and RF equipment is an asset
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality and accuracy
• Sense of urgency and flexibility in meeting deadlines and adapting to shifting priorities
• Good verbal and written communication skills; team-oriented mindset
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and remain active throughout a full shift
• Ability to read, write, interpret information, and perform basic math calculations
