About Us
Amazon Canada’s Hardlines and Entertainment Media team is dedicated to improving value, selection, and convenience for customers. As a Vendor Manager, you will play a critical role in managing strategic and established brands, driving profitability and topline performance for your category.
You will engage with multiple internal teams to optimize product line performance for key manufacturers (vendors) on Amazon.ca.
Role of the Vendor Manager
As a Vendor Manager for the Video Games category, your primary goal will be to build strong vendor and brand relationships, manage contract negotiations, optimize selection and inventory, and drive growth through detailed analysis and strategic initiatives.
You will be responsible for leading key categories and brand relationships, ensuring top-notch customer experience on Amazon.ca.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage key categories and brand relationships in Video Games for Amazon.ca.
- Build and maintain strong vendor and brand relationships.
- Conduct contract negotiations to drive profitability and growth.
- Optimize selection and catalog, inventory, and forecast generation.
- Lead product launches and pricing strategies.
- Conduct detailed analysis to identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, marketing, and operations.
- Own P&L responsibilities for your category.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $61,400/year up to $102,600/year, based on experience and skills.

Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in retail, operations, product or program management, or business management/consulting with negotiations and delivering results experience.
- Knowledge of Excel and experience extracting data through varied reporting tools to drive business decisions.
- Experience in vendor negotiations, pricing and promotion, inventory management, and product development.
- Experience with financial analysis and P&L ownership.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing large data sets and utilizing them to drive performance and process improvements.
- Experience in the Video Games industry and customer base.
