Tire Centre Sales Assistant – Costco Wholesale – Oshawa, ON
Location: Oshawa, ON | Company: Costco Wholesale
Assists members with purchasing tires by answering questions, making recommendations using the 5 steps of selling, and providing prompt, courteous service. You’ll stock, tag, and organize tires on the sales floor, create purchase and service invoices, and—once certified—fill propane tanks following all safety procedures.
In this role, you’ll also handle incoming calls for price quotes, oversee the .CA appointment program, and communicate with the Tire Centre manager, buyers, and inventory auditors to coordinate special orders and promotions.
About the Role: Tire Centre Sales Assistant
As a Tire Centre Sales Assistant, you’ll assist members in determining tire needs, sell tires with persuasive product knowledge, and tag and organize special‑order and .CA tires for efficient pickup. You’ll invoice tire purchases, install/repair services, and process payments accurately.
You’ll manage appointments—booking, confirming, and loading tires into staging areas—and support station operations by driving member vehicles into service bays. You’ll also maintain a clean sales area by sweeping, mopping, and wiping as needed.

Requirements / Skills
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Valid driver’s license required
- Must pass Costco Tire certification test
- Propane locations: pass propane certification within 30 days
- Previous tire sales or installation experience preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
