Responsibilities
Day-to-day work as a Tim Hortons Team Member involves a mix of guest-facing service and behind-the-scenes preparation. From preparing your first coffee of the morning to closing down the production area at the end of a shift, every task plays a role in keeping the restaurant operating at its best.
- Take orders from guests with a friendly attitude, attentive behaviour, and strong product knowledge
- Prepare beverages according to Tim Hortons standards, including properly marking lids and pots
- Prepare food items such as bagels, wraps, and sandwiches following proper build procedures and food safety guidelines
- Operate ovens and egg cookers to prepare baked products including muffins, donuts, breads, eggs, and sausages
- Maintain showcase specifications to ensure product displays meet brand standards
- Clean production and back-of-house areas on a daily basis to uphold hygiene standards
- Receive and store inventory during deliveries and stock front-of-house items daily
- Maintain restaurant cleanliness including the interior, exterior, parking lot, dining room, and restrooms
- Support speed of service by working efficiently with a sense of urgency to meet guest needs
- Handle guest concerns promptly and professionally, resolving complaints in a way that makes it right
