As a Team Leader at Dollarama Ottawa, you’ll take on a hands-on supervisory role that blends floor leadership with operational responsibility. Responsibilities

The Team Leader role at Dollarama covers a broad range of operational and people-management duties. You’ll be the go-to person for store associates on shift while also making sure the store is running smoothly, looking great, and meeting the company’s high standards. • Lead and supervise store associates, providing day-to-day guidance and support
• Oversee store merchandising, including shelf stocking and processing daily shipments (boxing and unboxing)
• Ensure customer service standards are consistently met and address complaints or issues as they arise
• Conduct manager-on-duty tasks such as managing daily breaks and tracking time and attendance
• Implement and maintain visual merchandising standards in line with company strategy
• Uphold store safety and cleanliness standards and contribute to their ongoing maintenance
• Perform cash management and handle store opening and closing duties as needed
• Participate in inventory counts and related processes
• Support employee training and contribute to performance evaluations

Requirements / Skills

Dollarama is looking for someone who brings a combination of retail experience and leadership ability to this role. You’ll need to be organized, adaptable, and comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities. Here’s what they’re looking for:
