About the Role: Shift Supervisor

Responsibilities

Every shift brings a mix of operational oversight, team leadership, and customer-facing responsibilities. As Shift Supervisor, you’ll be expected to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while keeping the team focused, motivated, and on track with Tim Hortons’ standards.

  • Oversee service quality and ensure product standards, availability, and cleanliness are consistently maintained throughout the shift
  • Supervise team members and assign duties as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations
  • Conduct pre-shift huddles to align the team, boost morale, and communicate priorities for the shift
  • Handle customer complaints quickly and professionally, putting corrective actions in place as needed
  • Manage cash floats and balance registers at the end of each shift
  • Maintain food safety standards including recording temperature logs and following all applicable documentation requirements
  • Enforce health and safety policies, report injuries, accidents, and unsafe conditions to the Restaurant Manager
  • Support recruitment and training by assisting the Restaurant Manager and providing coaching and feedback to team members
  • Ensure proper uniform standards are upheld by all employees during the shift
