Join Google’s Large Customer Sales (LCS) team as a Strategic Insights Lead and help guide some of Canada’s top advertisers through ongoing digital transformation. This role blends data-driven storytelling, strategic marketing insight, and client advisory work to drive impact across brands, agencies, and digital ecosystems.
As a Strategic Insights Lead, you will partner closely with sales teams to uncover meaningful business opportunities, design insight-led strategies, and deliver compelling narratives that connect customer goals with Google’s advertising solutions. You will influence key decision-makers, shape marketing strategy across industries, and help clients achieve outcomes in today’s AI-driven media environment.
About the role: Strategic Insights Lead
In this role, you will act as a strategic thought partner, developing insights, narratives, and presentations that influence how major advertisers approach digital marketing. You will lead custom research initiatives, analyse large-scale datasets, and create compelling stories that position Google as a strategic advisor.
You will collaborate cross-functionally with Heads of Industry, Sales Leaders, and peer Strategic Insight Leads to prioritize research, build scalable client-focused content, and elevate strategic conversations across verticals. This role requires strong communication, project leadership, and the ability to simplify complex data into meaningful business direction.

Requirements / Skills
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years in advertising sales, digital marketing, market research, analytics, consulting, or media
- 5+ years in Consumer and Market Insights
- 5+ years creating and presenting customer-facing materials and strategic presentations
Preferred Qualifications:
- 8+ years in digital marketing, analytics, consulting, or research
- Experience analysing large datasets and translating insights into business narratives
- Experience managing first- and third-party research programs
- Strong storytelling, communication, and executive presentation skills
- Familiarity with Google Ads, YouTube, and digital media solutions
