Stocker – Costco Wholesale – Edmonton, AB

As a Stocker with Costco Wholesale Canada in Edmonton, AB, you’ll help keep merchandise stocked, organized, and ready for members by following Costco’s merchandising standards and maintaining clean, safe aisles. This is a physical warehouse role that combines stocking, pallet handling, and daily floor upkeep.

You’ll work with supervisors and forklift drivers to restock product from steel, straighten and align items on the sales floor, and support a high level of member service while keeping the warehouse clean and hazard-free.

About the role: Stocker

In this position, you’ll stock opened cases on shelves, move pallets with a manual pallet jack, and consolidate partial pallets onto full pallets. You’ll also prep product for display (cutting boxes and removing shrink wrap), ensure correct signage, and create computer-generated signs when needed.

A big part of the job is keeping the floor safe and clean—clearing debris, removing empty pallets, pulling loose cardboard, and operating equipment like the cardboard bailer and trash compactor.

Key Responsibilities

• Stock and straighten merchandise using Costco merchandising standards
• Align product, collect stray items, and maintain strong in-stock levels
• Coordinate with supervisors and forklift drivers to bring product down from steel for stocking
• Cut boxes for display and remove twine/shrink-wrap from pallets using a box knife
• Move and position pallets using a manual pallet jack; consolidate partial pallets onto full pallets
• Create and check product signage; mark unmarked items using an item marking gun
• Set up display models and modify displays for safe handling (taping/bolting as needed)
• Maintain a clean and safe floor: clear debris, sweep, remove empty pallets, pull loose cardboard/slip-sheets
• Operate cardboard bailer and trash compactor; rewrap loose product using shrink-wrap machine
• Provide prompt, courteous member service (help load large items, direct members to products)

Requirements / Skills

• Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Experience: None required
• Comfort working in a physical, fast-paced warehouse environment
• Ability to follow safety procedures and keep aisles clean and hazard-free
• Willingness to use basic warehouse tools (manual pallet jack, box knife, marking gun)
