About the Role: Stock Unloader Associate
As a Stock Unloader Associate, your primary focus is on the flow of merchandise from the trailer to the sales floor. You’ll be unloading and sorting general merchandise trailers, preparing the receiving area, and pulling pallets to the floor for overnight processing. When needed, you’ll also assist with stocking shelves and serving customers.
Keeping the work environment safe, clean, and hazard-free is a core part of the job. This means following Walmart’s company policies and procedures, completing safety sweep logs, and ensuring all displays and fixtures are properly secured. You’ll also be responsible for maintaining the cold chain for refrigerated and frozen products — an important step in food safety compliance.

Responsibilities
Day-to-day, the Stock Unloader Associate keeps the store’s back-end operations moving. From managing the receiving area to getting product onto the sales floor, every task directly supports the customer experience and store efficiency.
- Prepare and reset the Receiving Area to ensure smooth, organized operations
- Unload and sort general merchandise trailers efficiently
- Complete live unloading of all remaining merchandise from trailers
- Maintain cold chain compliance for all refrigerated and frozen product receiving and stocking
- Pull pallets of merchandise to the sales floor for overnight processing
- Assist with stocking the sales floor as assigned and provide customer service when required
- Label and place overstock merchandise in the appropriate locations
- Uphold a safe and clean work environment through adherence to company policies, including completing safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are properly secured
