About the Role: Sr Operations Admin – HR

Responsibilities
Day-to-day, this role keeps the HR department organized and responsive. From coordinating interviews to generating compliance reports, the Sr Operations Admin – HR plays a critical behind-the-scenes role in supporting both hiring managers and employees across the facility.
- Support talent acquisition for Package Handlers, including scheduling interviews, monitoring background checks, and using the applicant tracking system
- Assist with Non-Package Handler hiring by preparing interview guides, uploading documents, and managing drug screen kits
- Deliver HR customer service to internal and external stakeholders — including dock walks, compliance checks, HR info tables, and password resets
- Maintain personnel files for all employees in accordance with company policy
- Audit and process HR paperwork and forms with accuracy and attention to detail
- Generate and distribute HR reports on a regular and ad hoc basis for management review
- Participate in special projects such as job fairs and retention and engagement events
- Provide general clerical support including photocopying, filing, faxing, emailing, and answering phones
- Assist with BCSA audit activity by retrieving data and files for management review
Requirements / Skills
The ideal candidate brings at least three years of HR administrative experience and is comfortable working in a high-volume environment that requires both precision and discretion. FedEx values team members who can manage competing priorities while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
- High school diploma or GED is required as minimum education
- Three (3) years of experience in HR clerical support or a related administrative field
