Sort Manager – FedEx – Mississauga, ON

FedEx Canada is hiring a Sort Manager to lead and oversee sort operations at its Mississauga facility. About the Role

As a Sort Manager, you will manage the entire sort operation within the facility. This includes leading employees, ensuring compliance with FedEx Ground (FXG) policies, meeting service standards, and maintaining safe and efficient workflows. You will also be expected to enforce safety protocols, optimize processes, and collaborate with other FedEx leaders to achieve organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the entire sort operation within the facility.
• Support FedEx’s Safety Above All culture, ensuring compliance with safety and operational protocols.
• Lead and guide employees to achieve operational goals and high performance.
• Ensure compliance with governmental regulations and company policies.
• Utilize MS Office tools to manage reporting, planning, and analysis.
• Address and resolve operational challenges in a timely and effective manner.
• Collaborate with other managers to continuously improve processes and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• 4+ years of business experience, preferably in logistics or transportation.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience in logistics or related service industry preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Must currently be part of FedEx management or LEAP/EXCEL endorsed.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and maneuver packages up to 150 lbs with equipment.
