In Alexa Connections, the team is leveraging Generative AI to bring these experiences to life. If you’re excited about building magical customer experiences while tackling hard, complex technical problems at the intersection of large language models, real-time communications, voice and graphical interfaces, and mixed reality, this role is built for that.

About the role: Senior Product Manager – Technical (Alexa Connections)

As a Senior Product Manager – Technical, you’ll own and ship messaging experiences where Alexa acts as an agent to help customers get things done. This is a highly cross-functional role — partnering closely with engineering, science, design, business intelligence, operations, finance, and executive teams to bring features to market and grow business opportunities.

Day to day, you’ll operate as a business owner and customer-facing representative for the service, synthesizing customer feedback with service and business metrics to shape strategy. You’ll write artefacts like PRFAQs, BRDs, and naming documents, iterate with Science and Engineering, and collaborate with partner teams (including solution architecture, legal, and documentation) to deliver high-quality, simple products customers love — in an environment where “learn and be curious” matters.

Job Summary & Tips for Applying

AI-generated summary and tips to help you highlight your strengths effectively.

For this Senior Product Manager – Technical role, your strongest advantage is showing you can translate customer needs into clear, shippable plans. In your resume, call out how you’ve defined a product roadmap, made trade-offs, and used service and business metrics to prioritize the right work — especially when timelines and inputs were moving.

This team operates at the intersection of GenAI, communications, and customer experiences, so be specific about how you partner with technical teams. Highlight moments where you contributed to engineering discussions, aligned science/engineering/design, and produced crisp artefacts like PRFAQs or BRDs that helped teams execute at a high bar.

Finally, prepare to demonstrate “customer obsession” in a practical way. Be ready to explain how you gathered customer feedback, synthesized it with data, and turned it into simple, high-quality experiences. If you’ve driven adoption of new tools or used analytics platforms (like Tableau or QuickSight) to influence stakeholders, make that easy to spot — it maps directly to what this role is built to do.
