In this role, you’ll be responsible for keeping the self-checkout area tidy and organized, educating customers on using self-service options, and promoting company programs like credit card services and charity initiatives. You’ll also observe customer activities to determine when assistance is needed and handle interventions and quality checks.

You’ll ensure compliance with company protocols, respond to EAS alarms, and fill out the “Failure to Deactivate” Log. Teamwork is essential, as you’ll call the Customer Service Manager for technical issues or when the area is low on cash. Returning Scan & Go scanners to their home is also part of the job.
