Ramp Handler – FedEx – Richmond, BC

FedEx Canada is hiring a full-time Ramp Handler in Richmond, British Columbia. In this role, you will be responsible for loading and unloading FedEx aircraft and vehicles, scanning freight, and transporting packages safely across the ramp and facility. About the Role

In this position, you’ll take part in ramp operations including aircraft loading/unloading, package scanning, and compliance with safety procedures. You’ll complete training and certification in ground support equipment, tug operations, belt loaders, and dangerous goods handling. This role requires the ability to lift up to 70 lbs and maneuver packages up to 150 lbs with equipment.

You will also collaborate with other team members to maintain safe and efficient ramp operations, while applying strong problem-solving and communication skills. FedEx provides comprehensive training to ensure you succeed and maintain required accreditations.

Requirements / Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
• Ability to complete ramp training and certification (GSE, tug, belt loader, DG, etc.)
• Good interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Capable of lifting up to 70 lbs and maneuvering up to 150 lbs with equipment
